Bill is the Director of Membership at Pivotal Advisors. He has more than 40 years of sales, sales management, and leadership experience in the commercial, education, non-profit, government, and military sectors. He has sold and managed sales and customer service teams through direct and indirect channels.
Bill prides himself on helping teams be the best they can be through practical sales training, practice, mentoring/coaching, and data-driven decision-making. Over his career, he has added many other training experiences, like Miller-Heiman, Action Selling, SalesFitness, and others. When combining these training disciplines with the real-world experience of making thousands of sales calls in many different industries, he is confident he can help others become the best they can be.
Bill began his career at IBM and was fortunate to participate in what was then the best sales training in the world. Bill led the TRW, NBI, National Computer Systems, and Capella University sales teams. More recently, Bill became a late-in-life entrepreneur when he co-founded and ran SkillFitness, a recently sold mobile, video-based sales effectiveness training company.
Most nights, you can find Bill doing CrossFit, and recently he finished in the top 10% of US competitors in the 2019 International CrossFit Open, Masters Scaled Division. Bill is passionate about helping adults with developmental disabilities, having served on the Board of Directors at Hammer Residences, a non-profit organization, for more than ten years.
